With iCat the data providers are not required to provide the data in any special format. They simply provide it to us in their own format and we write the program to import the data as it is, directly into iCat.
This means they can send updates as often as they would like and the data in iCat is as accurate as the suppliers own printed Catalogue. There is no interpretation between the supplier of the data and the user avoiding errors and costs.
The other very important point is that this provides us with the ability to deliver iCat to the market at an economically viable price for the users.

Our goal was to deliver an Electronic Catalogue to the market which would be kept up to date and at a realistic price.

So now Autopro is the first group to have iCat integrated within Peach Online. Members can now find a part using iCat, view availability at both Automotive Brands and their own shop, then place orders directly onto the Automotive Brands warehouse. Orders can be placed line by line or by importing an entire supplier order from Peach Software into Peach Online for submission.
